Naturopathy
Naturopathy is a holistic approach to healthcare, taking into consideration the whole person, and providing highly individualised treatments to meet the specific needs of each patient. Patients are treated as individuals, and treatment involves the whole body, not just the parts of the body that are affected.
Naturopaths work alongside doctors and other health professionals and use non-invasive treatments. Naturopathic treatments often include herbal formulas, homeopathy, nutritional medicine, functional testing, lifestyle and diet advice. These treatments are generally not a “quick fix” and symptom changes will depend on how long the symptoms have been present, how severe they are and the patients age. Treatments are suitable for people of all ages and a wide range of conditions. Common conditions treated by naturopathy include digestive complaints, stress, sleep issues, allergies, skin conditions, colds and flu, menstrual and menopausal problems and weight management.
